REFUND & DISPUTE POLICY
This Refund & Dispute Policy applies to all Learners regardless of their country of residence. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer protection right you hold under the mandatory law of your country of residence — including rights relating to services that are defective, not delivered, or materially different from what was advertised. Where a provision below conflicts with a mandatory right you hold under local law, that mandatory right prevails to the extent of the conflict, and the rest of this policy continues to apply.
1. General Policy & Fraud Prevention
By purchasing our services, you explicitly agree to these Refund Terms and Conditions. CloudShine reserves the right to provide evidence of service delivery, user engagement, and platform access to payment gateways (including but not limited to Stripe and PayPal) and banking institutions in the event of a dispute or chargeback request.
2. Live Training Programs – Refund Eligibility (The 3-Session Rule)
We stand behind the quality of our training but require commitment from our students. Refunds for training programs are governed by the following milestones:
- Eligibility Window: You may request a full refund within the first three (3) sessions of the training program.
- Session Threshold: Once the fourth (4th) session has commenced, been attended, or the materials for said session have been accessed, no refunds will be issued under this clause.
- Partial Attendance: If a student fails to attend scheduled sessions without 24-hour prior notice, those sessions will still count toward the 3-session limit.
- Booking Amount: The booking amount paid is non-refundable and will be forfeited if the registration process is not completed within the due date.
- Batch Delay or Cancellation by CloudShine: If the cancellation of registration is due to a delay/revision in the batch (program) start date, or the batch/program is cancelled by CloudShine, the Learner is eligible for a full program fee refund regardless of the 3-session rule above.
- Disciplinary Cancellation: There will be no refund on cancellation of registration due to disciplinary action initiated against the Learner.
- EU / UK Learners – Statutory Right of Withdrawal: If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of enrollment without giving a reason, in addition to the 3-Session Rule above. If you expressly request that training begin before that 14-day period ends, you may still withdraw during the 14 days, but CloudShine may charge an amount proportionate to the training already provided up to the date you notify us of withdrawal. Whichever of the 3-Session Rule or this 14-day right gives you the better outcome will apply.
3. Placement Guarantee Program
- The Guarantee: CloudShine guarantees to arrange up to ten (10) interview opportunities for the Learner within four (4) to six (6) months of program completion, aligned with the Learner’s domain, skillset, and job role preferences. This is a guarantee of arranged interviews, not of employment.
- Student Responsibility: Securing an offer from these interviews is the sole responsibility of the Learner. CloudShine’s obligation under this program is limited to arranging the interviews.
- No Refund on Employment Outcome: If the Learner does not secure a job after all ten (10) interviews have been arranged, no refund will be issued under this section. The guarantee is considered fulfilled once the interviews have been arranged, regardless of outcome.
- Timeline Extension: If at least three (3) interview opportunities have been arranged within the 4–6 month window but the full ten (10) have not yet been completed, CloudShine will extend the arrangement period and continue providing further interviews until the total of ten (10) is reached. No refund will be issued on account of this extension or of the program running beyond the original 4–6 month window.
- Eligibility to Receive Interviews: To remain eligible for the arranged interviews, Learners must have attended at least 90% of training sessions, submitted at least 80% of daily assignments, scored 70% on the English competency test, and attended all placement-related workshops and interviews arranged by CloudShine.
4. Placement Assistance Program
Placement Assistance is a separate, complimentary service from the Placement Guarantee Program above (see also the “Placement Assistance” definition and the PLACEMENT section of these Terms).
- Training Deliverable Complete: CloudShine’s contracted deliverable is complete once the Learner successfully completes the training program. Placement Assistance provided afterward is complimentary and best-effort, not a further paid service obligation.
- Availability Window: Placement Assistance is available for up to one (1) year from program completion.
- Active Engagement or Matching Opportunities: Placement Assistance is provided when the Learner actively reaches out seeking interview opportunities, or when CloudShine identifies an opportunity matching the Learner’s qualifications and shares it with the Learner.
- No Placement Promised: CloudShine does not guarantee or promise a job placement, offer, or any specific number of interviews under Placement Assistance. Support is limited to matching and facilitation based on availability and fit.
- No Refund on Employment Outcome: Because Placement Assistance is a complimentary, best-effort service with no promised number of interviews or offers, no refund is available under this program for any reason related to interview volume or employment outcome.
Under either program, if a Learner secures employment independently, outside of CloudShine’s placement support, no refund will be applicable.
5. Immediate Cloud Instances / Digital Access (The 24-Hour Rule)
For services involving provisioned instances, server environments, or immediate digital assets:
- Verification Period: Customers are granted a strict 24-hour verification window from the exact time the login credentials or access links are delivered via email/system notification.
- Testing Scope: This 24-hour period is strictly for verifying technical access and standard functionality.
- Strict Deadline: Any refund request or technical discrepancy must be logged via our official support channel within this 24-hour window.
- Defective or Non-Conforming Access: The 24-hour window above governs verification of standard technical access and functionality. It does not limit your right to raise a claim after 24 hours if the service delivered was genuinely defective, was not delivered at all, or was materially different from what was advertised; such claims will be evaluated under the applicable consumer protection law of your country of residence rather than treated as time-barred.
Outside of a defect claim under the point above, and beyond 24 hours from delivery, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.
6. Refund Request Process & Timelines
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing, including specific reasons for dissatisfaction and any supporting evidence.
- Refund processing timelines vary by payment method:
- PayPal / Stripe: typically 3–5 business days (up to 30 days if issued to a bank account).
- Google Pay / PhonePe / any UPI method: up to 10 business days (up to 30 days if issued to a bank account).
- Apple Pay: typically 1–3 business days (up to 30 days if issued to a bank account).
- CloudShine will review the refund request and may contact the customer for additional information. A decision will be made within 15 business days of receiving the request.
- If approved, the customer will receive a full refund of the eligible fees, processed within 7 business days of approval, issued using the original payment method.
7. Exclusions
- The refund policy does not cover dissatisfaction due to personal reasons unrelated to training quality or instructor performance.
- Any additional costs incurred by the customer, such as travel or accommodation, are not eligible for a refund.
- Tax deducted at the time of payment will be deducted during the refund.
8. Chargebacks, Disputes, and Administrative Fees
We encourage open communication and resolve legitimate issues directly through our support team.
- Friendly Fraud & Unauthorized Disputes: If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank, Stripe, or PayPal after utilizing our services, accessing our training, or passing the valid refund windows above, it will be treated as a breach of contract.
- Dispute Fee Recovery: [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL – revised from a flat 20% fee, which carries chargeback/UDAP risk in the US and may be unenforceable as a penalty clause in some jurisdictions.] In the event of a malicious or invalid dispute where the service has already been rendered, CloudShine reserves the right to legally recover the original transaction amount, together with the actual dispute/chargeback fees imposed on CloudShine by its payment processor for that transaction, and any reasonable legal or collection costs actually incurred. Any amount recovered from the customer under this clause will not exceed CloudShine’s documented actual costs and is subject to the mandatory consumer protection law of the customer’s country of residence, which may limit or prohibit fee recovery in some jurisdictions.
- Account Termination: Initiating an unmerited chargeback will result in the immediate and permanent termination of all active training access, cloud instances, and corporate certification eligibility without recourse, subject to any non-waivable rights described at the top of this policy.
9. Region-Specific Notices
- India: This policy is designed to be consistent with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 – the refund/cancellation terms above are displayed prior to purchase, CloudShine does not impose a cancellation charge on Learners that it would not equally bear if CloudShine itself cancels a batch (see Section 2), and refunds are processed within the timelines in Section 6.
- United States: This policy, including any “all sales final” provisions, is disclosed to you before payment is taken, as required by the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule. No statement in this policy is intended to promise a “satisfaction guarantee” unless expressly stated as such.
- United Arab Emirates: [REVIEW WITH COUNSEL – UAE law generally prohibits blanket “no refund” terms as applied to defective or non-conforming services; see the defect carve-out in Section 5. Consider whether an Arabic-language version of this policy is required for enforceability against UAE-resident consumers.] Where a service is found defective within an applicable verification period, CloudShine will offer repair, replacement, or refund in that order, consistent with UAE consumer protection law.
- European Union / United Kingdom: See the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal described in Section 2.
10. How to Request a Valid Refund
To ensure your request is tracked and processed within the valid timeframes outlined above, all refund requests must be submitted explicitly to:
- Official Support Email: support@cloudshinepro.com
- Required Information: Full Name, Registered Email, Invoice Number, and Reason for Request.
Note: Requests made via WhatsApp, social media, or phone calls will not be recognized as official timestamps for the 24-hour, 3-session, or statutory 14-day deadlines described above.
PART PAYMENT OPTION
CloudShine does not provide or facilitate any loan or third-party financing. CloudShine offers an optional part-payment plan for select programs, allowing the program fee to be paid in installments as set out in the invoice/payment schedule shared at the time of registration.
Choosing the part-payment option is a personal choice of the Candidate. Candidates may instead pay the full program fee upfront if they prefer.
Each installment must be paid by its due date as stated in the invoice. If an installment is not paid on time, CloudShine will block the Learner’s access to the training (including live sessions, recordings, and the Learning Management System) until the full outstanding amount is paid as per the invoice. Access will be restored once payment is received; CloudShine is not responsible for any sessions or content missed while access is blocked for non-payment.
The booking amount and any installments already paid remain subject to the REFUND & DISPUTE POLICY above; opting for part payment does not create any additional refund right beyond what is set out there.
PROGRAM PEDAGOGY
The program pedagogy follows an outcome-driven, practitioner-designed, immersive methodology.
The unique learning cycle Learn → Practice → Apply → Review → Refactor helps learners to learn from correcting their mistakes.
The Program ensures that the learner acquires the required skills. CloudShine believes by completing all activities as per the program design, every individual learner will acquire the necessary skills to be job ready.
All materials referred during the program are digital contents and code. During the program duration, learners will have access to the platform to access the digital contents.
All digital content access provided by CloudShine is strictly for the use of the Learner during the program only and cannot be copied, replicated, electronically transmitted, or misused in any manner.
The medium of instruction in the program will be in English only.
PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Learners should abide by the program’s academic milestones and all other guidelines governing the execution and completion of the program. The Learner undertakes to put in his best effort towards improving skills and knowledge by learning from the registered program.
The program is designed to be completed within the duration mentioned in hours. The calendar time in weeks is for reference purposes only. Actual duration is based on the batch schedule such as duration of the sessions, number of sessions in a week, other planned / unplanned holidays during the period. Learners should refer to the Batch Schedule available in the Learning Management System.
Since the program is outcome-driven, the Learner will not be able to move ahead in the program until he/she completes the assignments. Therefore, the actual duration of the program would depend on the individual Learner’s participative interest, involvement, and timely completion of the assignments/challenges.
If the Learner is not able to show progress as per the batch schedule, then in the interest of the learner, CloudShine may be compelled to transfer the Learner to another batch or schedule remedial sessions for effective learning. Under such a situation, there might be a repetition of the previous sessions and the planned end date of the program will be revised as per the new batch schedule. Any implications on the Learner’s part-payment installment schedule due to delay in completion of the program, including any resulting blocked access under the PART PAYMENT OPTION section, will be the Learner’s responsibility only.
The Learner must honour the financial obligation even if he/she decides to discontinue the program at any time.
Learners who would need to change the batch, for not keeping pace with the current batch, may have to pay the applicable batch transfer convenience charges.
ASSESSMENTS
The Learner has to participate and complete all the assignments, assessments, and project work successfully. This may include but is not limited to – quizzes, practice assignments, challenges, summative assignments, time-bound assignments, group discussions, and peer reviews.
CERTIFICATION
The Learner will be awarded a Certificate on successful completion of all assignments, assessments, and project work of the program.
The Learner has to be a Graduate to be awarded the Program Completion Certificate.
Learners who do not clear the assessments / assignments and have not met the attendance requirements will not receive any certificate.

CloudShine shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Service towards a Learner under the following circumstances:
- For Placement Assistance:
- CloudShine’s training deliverable is complete upon successful completion of the program. Placement Assistance provided thereafter is a complimentary, best-effort service and not a further contracted deliverable.
- Placement Assistance is available for up to one (1) year from program completion, and is provided when the Learner actively reaches out seeking interview opportunities, or when CloudShine identifies an opportunity matching the Learner’s qualifications and shares it with the Learner. No specific number of interviews or offers is promised.
- CloudShine shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Assistance upon the earliest of: (a) expiry of the one-year period, (b) the Learner receiving and accepting an offer letter (whether through CloudShine or independently), or (c) the Learner ceasing to actively engage with the placement process.
- For Career Guidance Support: CloudShine will organize workshops/sessions on the creation of an online portfolio, LinkedIn profiling, and soft skills for each batch. Learners are informed about the schedule of these events through email. It is the responsibility of the Learners to attend these workshops/sessions and benefit from the same. Once the schedule is communicated to the Learners and the sessions are conducted, the service is considered as delivered irrespective of the Learner’s attendance or not. There will be no repeat of any of these sessions.
- If the Learner voluntarily discontinues from the placement services.
- Non-participation or any other act of non-cooperation, no response to email communication with CloudShine or with the Partner Organization’s Selection/Placement process, shall lead to the withdrawal of the Placement services on disciplinary grounds, at CloudShine’s sole and absolute discretion.
For Learners with foreign nationality, the placement service will be subject to the Prospective Employer accepting the profile and sponsoring the necessary work visa. CloudShine shall not guarantee placement services (assurance or assistance) for foreign nationals.
The Learner will not be entitled to any refund (for Learners with Placement Assurance only) once CloudShine has been deemed to have discharged its obligations regarding Placement Services towards the Learner under any of the above circumstances, including the Learner being expelled on disciplinary grounds. See the REFUND & DISPUTE POLICY above for the current Placement Guarantee and Placement Assistance refund terms.
DIGITAL DEVICES
The Learner needs to have their own desktop or laptop computer, webcam, headset with echo cancellation mic, broadband internet connectivity with a minimum of 20 Mbps, and uninterrupted power supply to join this program.
Registration to the Program implies that the Learner has the requisite infrastructure as per the details mentioned in the product webpage / Program brochure. Not having the requisite hardware and connectivity will affect the learning.
The Learner is responsible to arrange their own resources (hardware / software / connectivity) as required to attend the Program.
The Learner is fully responsible for the proper functioning of the computer hardware and internet access.
CloudShine is not responsible for the charges incurred for the usage of hardware, software, or internet services provider fees.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of any hardware, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and CloudShine is not responsible for the same.
SOFTWARE
CloudShine will only provide the details of the software required for the Program. It will be the responsibility of the Learners to arrange for the necessary open-source or licensed software and install it on their devices. Not having the requisite software will affect the learning.
For the procurement, installation, upgrade, or troubleshooting of any software, the Learners need to contact their own vendors and CloudShine is not responsible for the same.

All such communications sent to the Learner are considered acknowledged and read.
It is the responsibility of the Learner to update any change in their details, by writing to the helpdesk at trainings@cloudshinepro.com.
Learners should be aware that by taking admission to any program at CloudShine, they give consent to CloudShine to use their personal information, which includes mobile number, email ID, and residential address, for communicating with them at present and in the future.

DISCIPLINE
Learners are required to adhere to the norms of discipline and decorum during the Online Sessions. Non-adherence to the same may result in consequential penal action, which may even include cancellation of admission.
Any Learner who is found using unfair means during online examinations, or while doing hands-on assignments and assessments, by indulging in activities like copying, discussions, using technology-based instruments, or other means to cheat, will be debarred from further continuation of the Program.
There will be zero tolerance towards any form of copying. If there is even a small doubt about copying, the mentor may decide not to evaluate the assignments submitted. The mentor’s decision is final in cases of plagiarism.

CloudShine expects the Learner to resolve all matters relating to the enrolled program, delivery, fees, scholarship (if any), and placement, directly with CloudShine’s designated officer. Any attempt to bring outside influence, directly or indirectly, upon any CloudShine authority or CloudShine Partner Organization (if any), to further impact the Learner’s interests in respect of matters pertaining to the association with CloudShine, would amount to a breach of the admission contract and academic norms, and would lead to debarring the Learner from availing further services from CloudShine and initiation of appropriate action.
During the course of the Learner’s association with CloudShine, the Learner will not take part in any demonstration/agitation against CloudShine and its officials for or on behalf of any external bodies/political outfits, either as a member or a sympathizer. Any act in contravention of the above would be treated as prejudicial to the interest and reputation of the institute, leading to the initiation of appropriate action.
CloudShine expects the Learner to notify CloudShine officials immediately with the past and current details of any civil or criminal case(s) instituted against the Learner in any Court of Law, or any complaint / show-cause notice / prosecution with or by any Police Station or by any statutory authority, and to notify any outcome of such complaint to CloudShine in writing. Any act in breach of this term, or suppression of facts, would entail initiation of appropriate action as deemed fit by CloudShine / Partner Organization.
PRIVACY POLICY
Learners are also supposed to abide by the Privacy Policy and the terms and conditions mentioned in the LMS and the CloudShine Student App at all times. Any unethical and unprofessional conduct by the Learner shall cause cancellation of admission and forfeiture of the Program fee.
GENDER SENSITIZATION
CloudShine does not discriminate against or encourage any kind of sexual harassment of women employees or Learners. Anyone found in violation of the same will be dealt with as per the law.
MEDICAL FITNESS
Candidates enrolling in the program confirm their understanding that this program is offered through online admission and delivered online, and that they are medically fit to undergo the same without any constraints.
Since the program is backed with Placement Assurance, the placement of the candidate post successful completion of the program is subject to the candidate clearing the medical fitness requirements of the recruiting organization.
If the candidate is unable to clear/satisfy the medical requirements, CloudShine will not be responsible for the placement of the candidate and there will be no refund of the program fee. In such cases, CloudShine shall be deemed to have discharged its obligations towards the learner’s placement.
GOVERNING LAW, JURISDICTION & GENERAL LEGAL TERMS
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
[REVIEW WITH COUNSEL before publishing – confirm the entity name, registered address, and preferred forum with your Indian counsel.] These Terms and Conditions, including the Refund & Dispute Policy, are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – except where mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence (including India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, or the United Kingdom) grants you the right to bring a claim in your local courts or under your local law, in which case that mandatory right is not affected by this clause.
Non-Waivable Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions, including the Refund & Dispute Policy, is intended to exclude or limit any right that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory consumer protection law applicable to you as a resident of India, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or any other country. Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with such a mandatory right, the mandatory right prevails to the extent of the conflict, and the remainder of these Terms continues to apply.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or regulator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver
CloudShine’s failure to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions at any time does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of CloudShine’s right to enforce it later.
Notices & Language
Official communications and notices under these Terms and Conditions will be sent to the Learner’s registered email address and are deemed received when sent. These Terms and Conditions are published in English. Where a translated version is made available for a specific jurisdiction (for example, an Arabic-language version for UAE-resident Learners), and a conflict arises between versions, the English version prevails unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
AMENDMENTS
CloudShine reserves the right to amend, modify, withdraw, or substitute any of the terms and conditions without prior notice.
The changes may be necessitated due to CloudShine’s focus on continuous improvement of processes and services, research and development in methodologies, pedagogy, technology obsolescence, industry requirements, and statutory compliances.
All amendments will be updated in the Terms and Conditions section of the LMS and will be notified to the Learners for information.
The Learners would be required to read and abide by the amendments.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How many interviews will be arranged in 4–6 months?
We will arrange 10 interview opportunities for eligible candidates under the Placement Guarantee Program, within 4 to 6 months of program completion. These interviews will be aligned with the candidate’s domain, skillset, and job role preferences. Securing a job offer from these interviews is the candidate’s responsibility – see the REFUND & DISPUTE POLICY above for details.
2. What if the salary or job location is not as per the candidate’s expectations?
Placement support is designed to align candidate preferences with industry opportunities. While we aim to ensure the best possible alignment, final offers are determined by the employer. Wherever feasible, we will communicate candidate preferences to the recruiter and explore any flexibility.
3. Is there unlimited or lifetime access to course materials?
We provide lifetime access to the course materials. Once enrolled, learners can revisit and revise the training content anytime, even after course completion, to refresh concepts or prepare for interviews.
4. Will a refund be issued if the candidate gets a job on their own?
If a candidate secures employment independently, outside of our placement support, no refund will be applicable. More broadly, refunds are not tied to whether a candidate ultimately secures a job under either program: the Placement Guarantee Program commits to arranging 10 interview opportunities (securing an offer from those is the candidate’s responsibility), while Placement Assistance is a complimentary, best-effort service available for up to a year with no promised number of interviews or offers. See the REFUND & DISPUTE POLICY above for full details.

We provide lifetime access to the course materials. Once enrolled, learners can revisit and revise the training content anytime, even after course completion, to refresh concepts or prepare for interviews.
4. Will a refund be issued if the candidate gets a job on their own?
If a candidate secures employment independently, outside of our placement assistance, no refund will be applicable. The refund policy is valid only for candidates who fully rely on our placement support and remain unplaced despite meeting the eligibility criteria.
